CC Subway

A three-lane endless runner in a pane beside the transcript

GamesSide panePop-up notesSlash commandDraws only
CC Subway running in Claude Code

Recorded on Claude Code 2.1.287 in a sandbox. Claude's replies are scripted; everything the mod draws is real.

What it does

Run /subway and a pane opens on the right of the transcript with a night skyline and three lanes of track running toward it. Click the picture and run: change lanes around trains, jump the low barriers, roll under the high ones and pick up coins. When Claude finishes its turn, the picture dims and a yellow "Claude is done" banner appears across the track, so you know the reply is in.

How to use it

  • /subway opens the pane. Run /subway again, or /subway stop, to close it.
  • Click the picture to give it the keyboard. Esc hands the keyboard back to the prompt; the run keeps going.
  • Left and right (or A and D) change lane. Up, W, Space or Enter jumps a yellow low barrier. Down or S rolls under a purple high one. A red train blocks its lane, so move out of the way.
  • You can also click: the left third of the picture moves left, the right third moves right, the middle jumps.
  • P pauses and R starts again. Coins are worth ten points and every row you run is worth one.

Good to know

  • The pane docks on the right in the fullscreen layout when the terminal is at least 110 columns wide. Narrower, or in tmux, it sits above the prompt instead.
  • Your best score is kept in the mod's own store, and a new best shows a toast. It makes no network calls.
