FlowPane
Watch a Workflow run as a live graph of its phases and agents, in a side pane
A mod is a small piece of code that runs inside Claude Code. It can draw, guard, rewrite and run on a timer. Here is each one, with a real mod recorded doing it.
A panel beside the conversation that stays open while you work: a live dashboard, a game, a diff to review. A pane opened from a command always shows; one a mod opens by itself waits for a wide enough terminal.
$.ui.openui.render → Pane
Watch a Workflow run as a live graph of its phases and agents, in a side pane

Every Claude session on your machine in one table, with handoffs and cleanup
A few rows right above where you type, for things you want in view but not in the way: the goal of the session, a checklist, something to watch while Claude works.
ui.render → AbovePrompt
Animated scenes above the prompt that grow with every tool call Claude makes

A guided breathing exercise above the prompt while Claude works
One line that stays until the mod changes it, or a redrawn hint line. Good for numbers you glance at all day: context used, plan limits, spend.
$.ui.statusui.render → PromptHint
Braille rings under the prompt for context and plan limits, with model and folder
A short note in the top right that disappears after a few seconds. For the things you'd otherwise keep checking, like a CI run turning green.
$.ui.toastPaste a PR link and watch its checks, reviews and merge state above the prompt

A T-rex runner in a pane where Claude's tool calls become obstacles
Every tool call passes through the mod before it runs, so the mod can let it through, change it, stop it or ask you first. Blast Radius holds an rm -rf and lists what it would delete.
tool.calltool.check
Holds risky shell commands and shows what they would delete before they run

Makes you type a launch code before Claude runs a dangerous shell command
What you type passes through the mod before Claude sees it. The mod can change the text, attach context that Claude reads and you don't see, or stop the prompt altogether.
prompt.submitprompt.context
Swaps keys, emails and IP addresses for placeholders before Claude reads them
A mod can add commands to the / menu. Some answer with a line of text, others open a pane or start a game.
$.command.registercommand.run
Rolls movie-style end credits for your coding session in a pane

Failing tests summon a pixel boss, and every fix lands a hit until it's knocked out
A mod can give Claude a new tool, described in plain words so Claude knows when to use it, and answer each call itself. It can start subagents too. Diff Review gives Claude a tool for leaving draft comments in its review pane.
$.tool.register$.agent.spawn
Review a pull request in a side pane and send your line comments as a pending review
A timer started with the session keeps running between turns without starting one. It can refresh a pane, raise a toast, or hand Claude a prompt when something needs attention.
$.clock.every$.clock.after$.prompt.submitPaste a PR link and watch its checks, reviews and merge state above the prompt
A tool's result passes back through the mod too, so the mod can trim, tag or hide parts of it before Claude reads them. Secret Redactor swaps the keys in a cat .env for placeholders and puts the real values back when Claude uses them.
tool.call
Swaps keys, emails and IP addresses for placeholders before Claude reads them
Ask a model a question of its own, outside the conversation
$.model.completeFor example Session Brief
Redraw parts of Claude Code itself, like the spinner or Claude's replies
ui.renderFor example Clawd Spinner and Prismantis
Play sound
$.audio.playFor example Claude Ambient and CC Range
Send a message to your other Claude Code sessions
$.session.sendNothing on the shelf uses it yet.
You don't have to write one by hand. Describe the mod in a Claude Code session, for example “a mod that shows the current git branch above the prompt”, and Claude writes it with its built-in plugin-authoring skill. Anthropic's guide to creating a mod covers the rest.
