Clawd acts out the spinner word in a little pixel scene while Claude works
What it does
While Claude works, the spinner grows into an eight-row pixel scene, and Clawd, the Claude Code mascot, acts out whatever word the spinner picked. Sautéing gets a campfire and a pan, Pondering gets pacing, Moonwalking gets a backwards dance, and a word like Effecting puts Clawd at an anvil next to a forge. The usual spinner line with the word and the time sits underneath. It's purely for fun.
How to use it
Install it and send a prompt. There's nothing to configure.
Good to know
- There are 11 acts: cooking, thinking, dancing, building, computing, herding, strolling, weather, gardening, space and a conjuring trick with a wand and a top hat. The mod matches the spinner word against word stems, and any word it doesn't know gets the conjuring trick.
- Claude Code picks the spinner word at random, so you see a different act from turn to turn.
- It only draws in the terminal. In a window narrower than 54 columns you get the normal spinner.
- It's unofficial fan art of Anthropic's mascot.
