Roll Credits

Rolls movie-style end credits for your coding session in a pane

Roll Credits running in Claude Code

Recorded on Claude Code 2.1.287 in a sandbox. Claude's replies are scripted; everything the mod draws is real.

What it does

Run /credits and a pane scrolls movie-style credits for your session. The file Claude edited most is STARRING, the other edited files are the supporting cast, the tools Claude used most get special thanks, and failed tool calls are counted as plot twists. It closes with the session's numbers, a post-credits scene and THE END.

How to use it

  • /credits rolls the credits for this session. /credits The Greeting gives the movie a title.
  • /credits --still shows all of it without scrolling, and /credits --text prints it as text instead of opening a pane. Put options before the title.
  • /credits demo rolls made-up sample data and leaves your numbers alone.
  • The pane has Still, Replay and Close buttons, and Esc closes it while it has focus.

Good to know

  • It counts from the moment the mod loads and keeps the numbers in memory only, so they start over with each session. Edits Claude makes through Bash aren't counted.
  • It records tool names, the paths of edited files and whether calls failed. It doesn't read the conversation or file contents, and makes no network calls.
